Job description

We are looking for a Growth Associate to represent our healthcare offerings in the Tampa, Florida market and build meaningful connections with prospective patients in the community. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging people face-to-face, explaining healthcare options clearly, and guiding individuals through the next steps to become new patients. The role combines event-based outreach, relationship building, and lead follow-up to support membership growth among senior-focused audiences.
Responsibilities:
• Represent the organization at community outreach programs, educational sessions, open houses, and health-focused events to increase awareness among prospective patients.
• Coordinate with brokers, agents, and community-based partners to plan and deliver consumer-facing events that attract senior audiences.
• Speak with prospective customers about available products, clinics, and provider options, helping them understand how to enroll or become a new patient.
• Capture lead information during events and maintain timely follow-up with prospects to move them through the outreach and conversion process.
• Prepare, transport, and set up event materials, displays, and informational resources needed for successful presentations and enrollment conversations.
• Build relationships with senior-serving organizations, retirement communities, and local centers to expand opportunities for community engagement.
• Manage outreach activity while working in the field, including email communication, documentation, and coordination across multiple browser-based systems.
• Support evening and weekend events as needed based on community schedules and audience availability.• Previous experience in sales, customer service, customer success, or a similar client-facing role with responsibility for lead generation or follow-up.
• Ability to travel locally with reliable transportation and work effectively in a mobile, event-driven environment.
• Experience supporting or coordinating events, including handling event materials and on-site setup.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including clear email correspondence and in-person presentations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to navigate multiple browser-based tools efficiently.
• Comfortable engaging older adult populations and community partners in educational or promotional settings.
• Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
