Job description

smartdept. is searching for a Director of Demand Generation & Digital Strategy for a healthcare automation client located in Broomfield, CO. The ideal candidate will come with 8+ years of experience. This is a full-time, hybrid, direct hire opportunity.
This role owns how marketing generates pipeline across the company's product portfolio, evolves the digital ecosystem, and builds the measurement system the executive team uses to evaluate marketing performance. It plays a key part in shaping how the company shows up across demand generation, digital experiences, and buyer engagement.
What You'll Do:
Set the demand strategy, channel mix, and campaign plan that delivers the marketing sourced pipeline target, and build the pipeline math (ACV, conversion, sales cycle, source mix), refreshing it every quarter.
Own the enterprise level demand generation and digital marketing function across paid media, ABM, SEO, email, webinars, content syndication, and website, partnering with the digital and web team to optimize conversion as part of a connected demand ecosystem.
Develop and execute Account Based Marketing strategies with Sales, including target account selection, orchestration, and measurement.
Build dashboards and reporting that tie program activity to pipeline creation, opportunity generation, revenue by source, channel ROI, and campaign effectiveness.
Build motions that move opportunities through long sales cycles, keep the buying group engaged, and shorten time to close.
Partner closely with SDRs, Sales, Product Marketing, and global leaders to generate pipeline.
Lead and grow the demand gen team, and shape the agency strategy that supports it, evaluating and rationalizing partners based on pipeline outcomes.
What You'll Need:
Education/Experience:
8 to 12 years of B2B demand generation experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership seat. Has owned a demand engine end to end, not just executed inside one.
Fluent in Salesforce, comfortable with multi touch attribution, and experienced with intent platforms like 6sense, Demandbase, or Influ2.
Experience building or operating a demand function inside a multi-product company.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Deep fluency in paid media, content syndication, ABM, and website conversion.
Strong track record managing agency and vendor relationships.
AI-native operator who uses AI tools for research, drafting, analysis, and reporting, with a point of view on how AI changes demand generation.
