Job description

Project Manager - Civil Engineering & Design (CE&D)

Founded in 1973, DJ&A is a multidisciplinary professional services consulting firm with office locations in Montana, Colorado, Washington, Florida, New Mexico, and Nevada. Our team of more than 180 professionals works across the country to deliver a diverse range of engineering, environmental, survey, mapping, landscape architecture, and planning projects for federal, state, local, tribal, and private clientele.

The ideal candidate enjoys owning projects, values quality and attention to detail, and thrives in a collaborative, relationship-driven environment where integrity, accountability, and people matter.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and grow relationships with prioritized local clients while contributing as a client engagement manager for additional accounts.
  • Build trust through responsive service, follow-through, and transparent communication, serving as a long-term partner rather than a transactional consultant.
  • Support business development efforts through proposal development, interviews, and client meetings.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services and strengthen long-term client partnerships, with a focus on growing relationships with the National Park Service, federal agencies, county governments, and state Departments of Transportation (DOTs).

  • Foster a collaborative, respectful, and quality-focused team environment.
  • Contribute to a respectful, inclusive team culture where people feel supported, challenged, and valued.
