Job Summary and Responsibilities

As the Director Operations for our Medical Group, you will strategically oversee and optimize the organization's day-to-day functions, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and the successful achievement of key business objectives. Your leadership is crucial in developing operational strategies, streamlining processes, and fostering a high-performance culture for sustained growth.
Every day you will manage diverse operational departments, implement best practices, analyze performance, and develop solutions to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness, collaborating extensively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include budget management, staff development, risk management, and spearheading initiatives that improve overall operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
To be successful in this role, you'll need exceptional leadership, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication for inspiring teams and collaborating across the organization. A profound commitment to operational excellence, innovation, continuous improvement, and adaptability are essential for driving measurable results in a dynamic business environment.

  • Serves on Physician Enterprise team and participates in development of strategic plans, goals, objectives, budgets and programs.
  • Develops operational plans in accordance with DHMGNV mission and strategic plan.
  • Supervises facility managers including determining workloads, schedules and priorities; effectively recommending new hires and terminations; conducting performance evaluations; effectively disciplining staff; tracking attendance; and, interpreting and implementing departmental policies and procedures.
  • Assures accreditation and legal standards are met and that operations comply with generally accepted principles and internal control policies.
  • Manages the preparation of annual budget and Long Range Financial Plan (LRFP) and ensures timely completion within the corporate guidelines.
  • Reviews and manages budget, LRFP, and analytical reports for accuracy and appropriateness to support financial performance.
Job Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in BusinessHealthcare Administration or related field
  • Four (4) years of managerial experience; at least one of which is in a healthcare environment


Preferred

  • Five (5) years of managerial experience in healthcare setting
