Overview

Group 1 Automotive is actively hiring experienced Service Advisors for multiple Bob Howard dealerships in Oklahoma City and Edmond.

We're looking for high-performing dealership Service Advisors who know how to manage a busy service drive, build customer trust, and consistently sell maintenance and repair recommendations.

The ideal candidate has previous experience as a Service Advisor, Service Writer, or Express Service Advisor in a dealership or high-volume automotive repair environment and is comfortable handling repair orders, communicating with technicians, managing customer expectations, and driving service sales

Responsibilities
  • Schedule and confirm service appointments to ensure an efficient customer experience
  • Create accurate, transparent repair orders with detailed cost and time estimates
  • Serve as the primary liaison between customers, technicians, and parts teams
  • Provide timely updates and clear communication throughout the repair process
  • Review inspections and confidently recommend maintenance and repair services
  • Maintain strong product, warranty, and service knowledge
  • Accurately document customer interactions and service details in the system
Qualifications
  • Previous dealership Service Advisor or Service Writer experience
  • Strong automotive maintenance and repair knowledge
  • Proven ability to upsell recommended maintenance and repairs
  • Experience writing repair orders and coordinating with technicians
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume service department
  • Experience with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Tekion, Xtime, Dealertrack, etc.) is a plus
  • Valid driver license
