About this Job The mission of the Secretary of State's office is to serve the public by meeting its legal responsibilities of collecting, securing, and communicating information that enhances commerce, ensures the integrity of Louisiana's elections, and preserves, presents, and makes accessible government information essential to Louisiana's operations and its recorded history. The Louisiana Secretary of State Archives Division seeks a dependable Maintenance Repairer 1 or 2 to perform general building maintenance, minor trade repairs, and preventive upkeep to preserve historical facilities and secure archives infrastructure. Minimum Qualifications One year of experience or training in the building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance or repair of mechanical equipment, or park operations and grounds maintenance; OR Six semester hours in construction management, construction technology, or engineering, or any combination of these courses.
