Job description

Battle Ground Vet Clinic, P.C. seeks a full-time associate veterinarian to join our thriving general practice. We are not another corporately-owned practice trying to create a family-feel. We ARE a family-owned small business that is truly a part of the community.

We have been in business for 40 years and are a full-service AAHA-accredited small animal practice. Located on the outskirts of West Lafayette, we have a country feel that is still close to the amenities of Purdue, West Lafayette and Lafayette. We serve clients from the Greater Lafayette area as well as Battle Ground, Brookston, Monticello and well beyond. Some of our customers come from as far as Indianapolis and Illinois.

We have three veterinarians, five technicians and an indispensable assistant/CSR team. We fully utilize our technicians to allow our vets to have more time to develop their own interests and skill sets. We have an excellent staff manager who fosters a team-based and pleasant working environment.

Our facility is well-equipped and paperless utilizing Pulse software. We have digital dental x-ray, two therapeutic lasers, a CO2 surgical laser, a large surgery suite with instrumentation and capabilities for many orthopedic procedures, dedicated isolation room, in-house lab equipment, an ultrasound, a Tonovet and a well-stocked pharmacy.

Most importantly, though, we support our people in the development of their professional interests. What are you passionate about? We want to help you reach your next goal! Examples of areas of interest that we have helped to foster and develop in our employees -- rehabilitation, dog training, orthopedic surgery, chiropractic care and acupuncture.

Compensation, benefits and additional offerings to be discussed on an individual basis. No after-hours emergencies, four-day work week with no more than two Saturdays (8-12) per month.
