Job Summary (List Format) for Avionics Technician III:
- Perform avionics maintenance in compliance with FCC, FAA, and company regulations.
- Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair avionics components.
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment, tools, and technical manuals.
- Interpret and work from technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.
- Route wires and install wiring per technical drawings.
- Utilize advanced skills in avionics installation tooling, wiring, soldering, and crimping techniques.
- Use and maintain own set of tools in good working order.
- May require familiarity with FCC regulations and FCC GROL.
- Prefer experience with spectrometer, oscilloscope, and pitot static equipment.
- Preference given to candidates with aerospace, defense, DOD, or US military background.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required.
- Minimum education: High school diploma or GED with 5+ years of relevant experience (higher education may substitute for experience).
