Job Summary (List Format):
- Assist in preparing logistics documentation for spares, tools, test equipment, materials, and related manuals for deployment and stocking.
- Support the routing, documentation, and coordination of shipping logistics and record-keeping for equipment, components, repair parts, and manuals.
- Track logistics materials and parts to ensure proper allocation and storage.
- Learn and apply state, federal, and global regulations and import/export requirements.
- Serve as a customer service liaison, interacting with Production, Planning, and Warehouse departments.
- Ensure safe, accurate, and compliant flow of materials throughout the production process.
- Utilize basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- (Preferred) Work with inventory databases and supply chain/logistics principles.
- (Preferred) Use aviation maintenance tracking systems (e.g., AvPro), and shipping databases (e.g., FedEx, DHL, UPS).
- (Preferred) Understand HazMat procedures, shelf life management, and operate a forklift.
- (Preferred) Experience in the Aerospace, Defense, or US Military sectors is a plus.
- Minimum education required: High school diploma or GED; higher-level education or related experience may substitute.
