Home Care Operations & Growth
Klipsch Senior Care · Home Instead · Kokomo, IN
Full-time · Some evenings & weekends required
This is not a job for someone who wants to keep a seat warm.
We’ve stabilized our Kokomo office and started growing again. Now it needs a leader’s dedicated focus to see the growth we’re after—someone ready to roll up their sleeves and build real momentum. Someone who looks at an office with a solid foundation and a lot of untapped potential and thinks, “I can grow this.” Someone with a real passion for getting out into the community and building relationships, the drive to push growth forward, and the grit and staying power to do the hands-on work it takes, day after day.
If you’ve led teams, carried real accountability, and have the track record to prove it—keep reading.
What this role is really aboutAs General Manager of our Kokomo office, you’re stepping in at a pivotal moment. The office is stable and growing again, and it needs a dedicated, hands-on leader to give it the focus it takes to reach its full potential and earn back its full place in the community. The success of that rests with you. Growth, operations, financial performance, team culture, community reputation—you own all of it. The wins are shared across your team, but the weight sits with you. That’s the deal, and for the right leader, it’s exactly the appeal.
Your biggest job is people. You’ll lead and grow your key players—the team who runs scheduling, recruitment, client services, and business development—and turn them into a high-performing unit that delivers for our clients and Care Professionals every day. But this isn’t a desk job. You’ll spend more of your week out in the community than in the office, personally building the referral relationships—with hospitals, physicians, social workers, senior living, and hospice—that fuel our growth. Here, business development isn’t something you just oversee. It’s something you do.
And there’s a number that matters: a 12.5% year-over-year increase in hours of care. You’ll own that goal—but the way you hit it isn’t through pressure or shortcuts. It’s through strong operations, a team that performs, and a community that trusts us again. Behind every percentage point is a senior living better at home. That’s the work. It’s demanding, it’s relentless at times, and it genuinely matters.
What you’ll ownLead and grow your key players
Drive growth and business development
Run the business
Hold the standard
This role calls for a proven leader. Not someone learning to lead—someone who has done it, owned the outcomes, and has the track record to show for it. Specifically:
A college degree is welcome, and prior experience in senior care or healthcare will help you ramp faster. But neither one is what we’re screening for. What matters most is a demonstrated track record of leading people, driving growth, and delivering results—wherever you’ve done it. If you’ve grown something through focus and persistence, or turned a corner and built momentum before, tell us—that’s exactly the experience this role rewards.
Tech you’ll useYou’ll work in CRM systems (Salesforce or similar), client care and scheduling software, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams, plus Home Instead’s internal systems. You should be comfortable operating in these tools and leading a team that relies on them.
A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel within the Kokomo area are required—you’ll be out in the community most days. This role also includes some evenings and weekends; running a franchise means being available when the business needs you.
What we offer“Running a franchise means the wins are shared but the weight is yours to carry. I’m looking for someone who sees an office that’s stable and ready to grow, and is willing to roll up their sleeves to build the momentum. If you’ve led, you’ve grown people, and you’re ready to do the hands-on work it takes, I want to meet you.”
How to applySubmit your resume online—and tell us about something you led. A team you grew, a number you turned around, a hard situation you carried your people through. We want to see your track record, not just your title history.
