Description:

About Precision Products: We are a locally owned modern machine shop located in Greenwood Indiana that utilizes CNC and manually operated equipment. We have served many different industries for over 50 years. We are ISO 9001:2015 certified and produce forge tooling, carbon fiber molds and plastic closure molds just to name a few. Our 45,000 square foot climate-controlled facility offers year around comfort and cleanliness is a priority. 


Work Schedule: 

Day shift is from 7:00am to 5:45pm Monday thru Thursday and 7:00am to 3:45pm on Friday. Lunch break is from 12:00pm to 12:45 pm each day. Standard work week is 48 hours with some flexibility. Additional overtime is available if desired.   


Job Summary:

Operate Manual Surface grinding equipment to produce the required parts.

Monitor the machining operation to insure proper results.

Read and follow process sheets and drawings to perform machining operations.

Follow required quality control procedures.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education:

High School Diploma or GED, any trade or vocational school is a plus. 


Experience Level:

It is always preferred but we are willing to train a motivated candidate.


Physical Ability:

Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, able to stand and push loaded carts. Able to stand in work area during your shift.


Personal Tools:

It is preferred candidate has some tools, but not a requirement. Precision Products provides specific gages as required for the operation.
