The Resilient Women's Health Hub is seeking a dedicated and fully licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in providing compassionate mental health support to clients navigating complex emotional and psychological challenges. This full-time remote position allows you to work from home while making a lifesaving difference in the lives of individuals often facing end-of-life issues and the associated grief and trauma.

This role operates remotely from a hospice care setting, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home while accessing a wealth of resources and support from our centralized hub. You will be part of a diverse, multi-disciplinary team dedicated to mental health care. Flexible working hours, including evening and weekend options, ensure you can meet the needs of our clients effectively.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to accurately evaluate clients' mental health statuses and formulate personalized treatment plans that address their specific challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment methodologies, integrating evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques suited for end-of-life concerns.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, working with clients to explore their emotions, promote coping strategies, and encourage restorative practices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers—from psychiatrists to social workers—to deliver holistic support that represents all aspects of clients' health and well-being.
• Educate clients' families about mental health, fostering an environment of understanding and active engagement in the recovery process, particularly important in hospice settings.
• Maintain meticulous records adhering to HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and integrity in client interactions.

The mental health counselors at Resilient Women's Health Hub primarily serve women experiencing mental health challenges associated with end-of-life transitions. This includes navigating grief, anxiety, depression, and existential concerns related to life-limiting diagnoses. Our goal is to help clients attain peace and emotional resilience during one of the most difficult times in their lives.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field, with specialized training in mental health counseling preferred.
• At least two years of relevant experience working in mental health, particularly with patients facing terminal illnesses or grief counseling.
• Demonstrated mastery of evidence-based therapeutic practices applicable to diverse mental health disorders.
• Exemplify strong interpersonal skills, establishing rapport quickly to foster openness in clients as they navigate their mental health journeys.
• Proficient in using telehealth platforms and electronic medical record systems to document care and communicate with team members effectively.

• Experience providing counseling in hospice or palliative care settings.
• Training in trauma-informed care and grief counseling.
• Proficiency in delivering culturally competent care to a diverse clientele.
