Position Overview

Better Movement Coaching Hub is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our expanding clinical team in Amarillo, Texas. Work Environment

This position is designed for professionals who appreciate a hybrid work model. While you will primarily deliver services remotely, you may also have opportunities to work in-person at our modern outpatient office in Amarillo. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for couples and families.
  • Facilitate therapy sessions with couples, focusing on their relationship dynamics, and hold individual sessions as necessary.
  • Address a wide range of clinical issues, including but not limited to:
    • Alcohol Abuse
    • Physical and Psychological Abuse
    • Grief and Loss
    • Interpersonal conflicts among family members
    • Adjustment issues related to separation and divorce
    • Communication difficulties within families
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods to foster positive outcomes for clients.
  • Maintain regular documentation and progress notes in compliance with organizational and legal guidelines.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve adults, children, and adolescents facing various life challenges, including relationship issues, grief, family adjustments, and communication difficulties. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding these individuals and families toward healthier interactions and personal growth.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A valid and active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice and patient care.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required, we particularly value candidates with experience in:

  • Working with diverse populations, including those dealing with complex familial dynamics.
  • Providing therapy for adolescents and children in addition to adult populations.
  • Utilizing teletherapy platforms for remote counseling.
Compensation and Benefits

Better Movement Coaching Hub offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a generous salary, we provide:
