At CRISP & GREEN, we believe exceptional restaurants are built by exceptional operators.

The Franchise Operator serves as the highest-ranking operational leader within a franchise organization and is ultimately responsible for the performance, culture, profitability, and long-term growth of every restaurant within their market.

This is far more than a multi-unit operations role.

What You will Be Responsible For:Operational Leadership
  • Lead the overall operation of multiple CRISP & GREEN restaurants.
  • Establish a culture of accountability, hospitality, and operational excellence.
  • Ensure every restaurant consistently executes brand standards.
  • Provide strategic direction while remaining highly engaged in day-to-day operations.
  • Serve as the operational decisionmaker for the franchise organization.
Financial Performance
  • Own the financial health of the business across all locations.
  • Analyze P&Ls to identify opportunities and implement corrective action.
  • Improve restaurant profitability through labor management, food cost controls, operational efficiencies, and sales growth.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and hold leadership teams accountable for results.
  • Build annual operating plans and budgets.
People Leadership
  • Recruit, coach and develop Area Leaders, General Managers, and future leaders.
  • Create clear succession plans across every restaurant.
  • Build an internal pipeline of promotable talent.
  • Provide consistent coaching, feedback, accountability and recognition.
  • Quickly address performance issues through coaching and development.
Guest Experience
  • Ensure every guest receives an exceptional experience.
  • Foster a hospitality-first culture throughout the organization.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement continuous improvements.
  • Drive community engagement and local restaurant involvement.
Growth & New Restaurant Openings
  • Lead operational readiness for all new restaurant openings.
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, training and post-opening stabilization.
  • Ensure new restaurants open with strong leadership, staffing and operational consistency.
  • Support future expansion initiatives as the franchise organization grows.
Brand Stewardship
  • Protect the integrity of the CRISP & GREEN brand.
  • Ensure compliance with all operational systems, food safety standards and brand initiatives.
  • Partner closely with the CRISP & GREEN support team to successfully implement new programs and operational improvements.
  • Champion innovation while maintaining operational discipline.
What We are Looking For

The ideal candidate is an accomplished restaurant executive with a history of building high-performing multi-unit organizations.

Required Experience
  • 8+ years of progressive restaurant operations leadership within a fast-casual or hospitality brand.
  • Experience overseeing at least five restaurant locations simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated success managing multi-million-dollar P&Ls across multiple locations.
  • Proven ability to improve restaurant sales, profitability, guest satisfaction and team retention.
  • Experience leading new restaurant openings from staffing through operational stabilization.
  • Strong background developing General Managers and multi-unit leaders.
  • Experience implementing succession planning and leadership development programs.
Operational Expertise
  • Current ServSafe Manager Certification.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant technology including POS systems, inventory management, labor management, reporting platforms and business intelligence tools.
  • Working knowledge of Restaurant365 (or similar restaurant ERP systems) preferred.
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs and facilities management.
  • Strong understanding of off-premises sales, catering and third-party delivery execution.
Leadership Attributes

We are looking for someone who:

  • Leads with humility and accountability.
  • Develops people before processes.
  • Makes data-driven decisions.
  • Holds high standards while earning trust.
  • Is highly visible in the restaurants—not behind a desk.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
  • Takes ownership like an entrepreneur.
Success in this Role
  • Built strong relationships with every General Manager.
  • Established clear leadership accountability throughout the organization.
  • Improved restaurant-level KPIs.
  • Developed a succession plan for every leadership position.
  • Successfully executed new restaurant openings.
  • Created a culture where operational excellence and hospitality are the standard.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality or related field preferred.
  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned market.
  • Must reside within the franchise market to effectively support restaurant operations.
Compensation

Compensation package starts at $100,000 per year, with bonus potential based on restaurant performance and overall franchise success.
