What You'll Do

At Barcadeยฎ, our Bartenders represent the best of the Barcadeยฎ brand by being friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable of our concept, our beer, and our games. Bartenders serve our guests timely, responsibly, with a focus on friendly customer service.

Job Snapshot

  • Prepare alcohol or non-alcoholic beverages to proper service spec and recipe standards
  • Engage with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
  • Assess customersโ€™ needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • Check customersโ€™ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the night and be able to account for any and all discrepancies in the final drawer tally
  • Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • Comply with all alcoholic beverage safe service regulations
  • Set up and break down bar and surrounding areas

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • 2 years of experience in a fast paced and high standard bar setting
  • Ability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays as business demands
  • Working knowledge of craft beer, craft spirits and food
  • Bonus points for interest in vintage arcade games
  • A passion for hospitality and customer service
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the role, including remaining on your feet for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation

The Original Arcade Bar

Barcadeยฎ is the originator of the arcade bar concept and the largest operator of arcade bars in the United States. Barcade locations feature 40 to 75 video games and pinball machines mostly from the classic period of the 1980s as well as 24 American craft beers on draft. In addition to beer, Barcade locations offer a full bar with craft spirits and cocktails and creative variations on classic pub food. All Barcade locations are certified green by the Green Restaurant Association, a national non-profit organization that recognizes and certifies environmentally responsible restaurant and bar operations.
