Global Impact Group LLC is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and ISO 9001 / ISO 17100 certified provider of interpretation and translation services. We provide secure, high-quality language support in more than 80 languages for USCIS and other federal agencies.
We are seeking Greek Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support our USCIS contract. Greek is an important European language often requested in immigration, asylum, and naturalization cases.
Responsibilities
  • Provide real-time Greek ↔ English telephonic interpretation for USCIS officers, applicants, and stakeholders.
  • Deliver services with accuracy, neutrality, and professionalism.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with USCIS/DHS interpreter standards.
  • Handle both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge calls.
  • Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance reviews.
Qualifications
  • Native or near-native fluency in Greek and English.
  • 2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, legal, community, or government preferred).
  • Familiarity with interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Strong telephone communication skills and ability to remain accurate under pressure.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 federal clearance.
