Key Responsibilities
  • Serve directly as a clinician by providing mental health assessments, therapy, and intervention strategies for clients demonstrating signs of major mental illness or emotional disorders.

  • Participate actively in team meetings to enhance collaboration and advance the teamโ€™s collective goals, ensuring a unified approach to client care.

  • Engage with clients and family members effectively, employing diverse communication styles that respect individual differences.

  • Navigate the organizational structures of Great Beginnings Therapy Solutions and other external entities to effectively deliver services.

  • Adhere to established professional ethical guidelines and COHCโ€™s code of conduct while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

  • Work autonomously and as part of a team to foster skill development, meet performance goals, and enhance client outcomes with a focus on empowerment.

  • Identify and respond to unsafe situations, implementing appropriate procedures to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff.

  • Conduct brief, evidence-based screenings and facilitate comprehensive assessments when indicated, aligning with best practices.

  • Develop and execute individualized care plans that integrate various services and ensure seamless communication among clients, families, and providers.

  • Deliver focused prevention, treatment, and recovery services aimed at promoting mental health and well-being.

  • Assist with crisis interventions and ensure timely and appropriate responses to client needs.

  • Manage a caseload of clients while conducting assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, and family counseling sessions.

  • Regularly monitor client progress and ensure that treatment services align with client needs and goals.

  • Complete necessary documentation and reporting tasks in a timely manner to ensure efficient operations.

  • Provide on-call coverage as necessary, including during and after program hours, to respond to urgent client needs.

  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in agency committees to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role will be serving clients within traditionally underserved populations, who may exhibit complex mental health challenges. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work (MSW) or closely related field is required.

  • Valid LCSW license in the state of California.

  • At least 2 years of clinical experience providing mental health services, with a proven track record of effective treatment outcomes.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, crucial for client interaction and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Strong organizational skills, allowing for effective management of a varied caseload and adherence to treatment planning timelines.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
