Job description

Salary: Hourly wage DOE

Brooks Grease Service is adding a Plant Operator/Facilities Maintenance Technician to our growing Wichita plant. A Successful candidate is a reliable, dependable, motivated and able to take direction and work independently and with others. Facilities Maintenance Experience is required - driving a tractor trailer and forklift is a Plus!! This is a physical, manual labor job which requires the operator to be outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions, which may be extreme.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.


Job Description:

  • Loading and Offloading of Used Cooking Oil
  • Refining of Product
  • Processing/Dispersal of Waster Water
  • Lifting 50 lbs occasionally
  • Climbing of Ladders and Stairs throughout the day
  • Cleaning/Refurbishing containers as they arrive
  • Picking up trash around the plant
  • Cleaning the grease/ oil off plant equipment and pavement for the safety of all
  • Managing time well and changing tasks as requested by management and co-workers
  • May be required to ride with drivers to customer locations to set up/pick up oil containers, assist with clean up of spills, and other tasks
  • Normal working hours are Mon- Fri 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
