Job description

Job Summary The Grease Route Driver is responsible for operation of a grease collection truck to collect cooking oil while providing quality service to our customers, this position is located at our Omaha Facility. Shift Time: Monday through Friday; hours will be 01:00 - 10:00 AM with occasional Saturday as needed. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. * Pump or load grease containers; ensure cleanliness of container and surrounding area; returns container with screen and lock secured; notes any damages to container or corral area; properly completes route ticket with customer signature. * Responsible for established route as assigned. * Responsible for company vehicle; keeps vehicle in clean condition. * Conducts all safety checks and inspections of vehicle; operates vehicle under state, federal, local regulations and in accordance with company policy and procedures; observes all company safety rules. * Attendance at all safety meetings required; may be asked to serve on Safety Committee. * Maintain excellent customer relations by presenting professional appearance and attitude. * Responsible for completing all company required paperwork in accordance with company policies (route tickets, driver vehicle inspection reports, accident reports, mileage reports, service forms, etc.). * Maintain and update vehicle condition report on a daily basis. * All other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications * High school diploma or GED. * Must be at least 21 years old with clean MVR. * Minimum of 1 years of experience operating similar vehicle to grease route truck. * Current CDL A license holder with proper endorsements. * Must be registered on https://clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov/ Preferred Qualifications * Prior route experience within a customer oriented environment preferred. * Works well with others in a team environment. * Dependable; reliable; ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed. * Good math and communication skills. * Knowledge of safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle and general maintenance.
