Job Summary:
INSPYR Solutions is a national expert in delivering flexible technology and talent solutions. They are seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to enhance and maintain reporting, develop new dashboards, and support the transition of data to new GRC platforms.
Responsibilities:
• enhance and maintain existing reporting, including conducting data quality reviews and standardizing and documenting KPI and metric calculations.
• The role will also encompass the development of new dashboards and reporting capabilities, including trend analyses, monthly flash reporting dashboards, business review support, and operational dashboards.
• will support the transition of data to new GRC platforms, bridging the gap between current-state Excel workbooks and reporting tools while providing interim reporting continuity.
• Additionally, the role includes documenting queries, dashboard logic, and metric definitions, as well as developing SOPs and playbooks to enable risk managers to operate effectively in the future state.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong SQL skills for querying risk and compliance data from source systems and BI datasets.
• Advanced spreadsheet modeling (Excel/Quip) for interim mechanisms, normalization, and scenario analysis.
• Hands-on experience with BI platforms such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau or equivalent.
• Ability to design and implement repeatable dashboards, KPI/KRI views, and drill-down reports for leadership and ROC.
• The bulk of the work is project-like and front-loaded (building and stabilizing the analytics layer, standardizing KPIs, supporting the GRC transition).
• We need specialized technical skills (SQL, BI tools, GRC data modeling) that can be brought in quickly.
