Job Title: S2P Business Process Analyst, Principal (Ariba)
Location: Oakland, CA (Hybrid – On-site Tue–Thu)
Relocation Assistance Available
Salary Range: $156,000 – $184,000 + 15% Bonus Target
Job Type: Full-time/Direct Hire About the Role

We are hiring a Principal-level S2P Business Process Analyst to support a multi-year SAP transformation initiative. This greenfield program is now in its third year and aims to standardize and modernize Source-to-Pay (S2P) operations across a large-scale enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate will serve in a functional product owner capacity, with deep experience in SAP Ariba, particularly Sourcing, Guided Buying, Catalog Management, and Contract Management. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, system integrators, and solution architects to drive design, testing, change management, and user adoption.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with procurement and business stakeholders

  • Conduct fit-to-standard analysis for Ariba, S/4HANA, and Fieldglass capabilities

  • Collaborate with system integrators to define and validate end-to-end S2P scenarios

  • Own the UAT process from planning to defect resolution

  • Drive change management strategy to ensure successful system and process adoption

  • Develop and deliver end-user training materials and enablement resources

Technical Focus Areas
  • SAP Ariba (5–7 years) – Strong experience across Sourcing, Contracts, Catalogs, and Guided Buying

  • SAP S/4HANA Integration – Understanding of how procurement modules interface with finance, inventory, and AP

  • Contract Lifecycle Management – Deep functional knowledge of catalog and contract setup and governance

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 8+ years of SAP-related work experience

  • 5–7 years of functional S2P experience

  • 3–5 years experience with Ariba Sourcing / Guided Buying

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a product owner or functional lead role

  • Experience on greenfield SAP transformation programs

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Familiarity with user training, change adoption, and business process redesign
