Retail Store and Warehouse Associate -Artificial Grass Store

Artifiturf, a nationwide wholesale distributor of artificial grass products, is seeking a bilingual (English and Spanish) Retail Store and Warehouse Associate to join their dynamic team.

This position plays a pivotal role in the success of our artificial grass retail stores, as the store associates collaborate with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their requirements, provide product information, and suggest suitable solutions. Exceptional customer service is a top priority, and store associates are expected to address any customer issues promptly to ensure maximum satisfaction. It is crucial for the store associates to maintain product knowledge, uphold high quality and visual standards, and meet the store's sales targets consistently.

The Retail Store and Warehouse Associate will be stationed at our store in Hudson, FL, and the role involves interaction with customers, handling payments, electronic devices, merchandise, and other valuables. Given the nature of the responsibilities, a background check is necessary to safeguard the company's interests, reputation, and the safety of all stakeholders involved.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction
    • Provide excellent sales service
    • Assist customers in-person and over the phone

  • Sales Operations
    • Process transactions accurately
    • Handling payments
    • Follow and achieve sales goals
    • Pull products from sales floor or warehouse
    • Prepare products according to specifications
    • Present daily and weekly reports to management

    • Stock shelves and set up displays
    • Maintain clean and tidy store and warehouse
    • Load/unload delivery trucks
    • Dispatch and assist customers with loading/unloading

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted Drivers License
  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to:
    • Retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks
    • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently
    • Lift and carry up to 75 lbs. on occasion
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours with or without reasonable accommodation

Qualifications

  • Have at least a High School diploma or GED
  • Have at least one (1) year experience working in:
    • Delivery
    • Retail
    • Sales
    • Customer service position
  • Experience, skilled, and/or certified in the use of forklifts
  • Proficient with computer applications
  • Bilingual : Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish
