Job Summary:
Veracity Software Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Automation Tester for their UXL Platform team, focused on building a next-generation platform using GraphQL technology. This role involves leading testing initiatives, executing test cases, and optimizing testing processes while collaborating with various teams to define and deliver a comprehensive testing strategy.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver large, high-impact initiatives, projects, and enhancements and supporting the UXL platform.
• Work with the QE Manager, Engineering team, Service Provider team, and others to define and deliver the testing strategy, plan, and lead end-end testing activities.
• Execute test cases to support both automated and manual testing initiatives, bring new automation ideas to life, optimize test executions, and shorten testing cycles in a fast-paced development environment.
• Assume technical ownership of Service Provider deliverables and lead their technical resources to ensure high quality, compliance with our technical standards and best practices, and performance at scale.
• Research emerging technologies that will provide future capabilities and seek solutions for complex technical issues.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field OR equivalent total years of experience or certification
• Overall 8+ years of experience in Test Automation, QA, or IT operations using open source and enterprise testing technologies.
• 4+ years of experience in creating test strategies, test plans, and test cases in the API testing area.
• Experience in development of API/GraphQL automation framework from scratch.
• Practical experience and use of API/GraphQL testing tools like Postman, ReadyAPI, RestAssured, Karate or similar tools.
• Experience in GraphQL using Apollo client and server.
• Experience to configuring and creating pipelines using Jenkins, Harness, or similar tools.
• Experience in service virtualization using WireMock, ReadyAPI, or similar tools.
• Experience in usage of Performance tools like NeoLoad, LoadRunner, K6, or similar tools.
• Experience in BDD using Gherkin, Cucumber.
• Developer experience in javascript / typescript / Node js
• Practical experience and use of tools like Jira, Confluence, Service Now, in an Agile development environment
• Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver results under challenging conditions, particularly when faced with complexity, ambiguity, and execution in an Agile development model.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile/Scrum engineering environment delivering incremental software with high quality.
• Must possess critical thinking and analytical skills in addition to great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Define and deliver automation strategy, next generation automation technologies and roadmaps.
Preferred:
• Experience in AWS technologies preferred.
• SAFe Agile experience is a plus.
