Associate Graphic Designer

We are looking for an Associate Graphic Designer to be the newest addition to our ever growing creative team in our Marketing Department. Responsibilities include creation and production of printed and digital marketing materials, and POS to help elevate the brand message through visual communications. The Associate Graphic Designer facilitates workflow through the system by making sure all production deadlines are met with proper brand guidelines and standards to ensure quality above all else. Reports to Visual Merchandising Manager.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with external agencies and in-house design studio to articulate and execute design decisions to help elevate brand message through all visual communications.
  • Conceive, design and produce professional creative marketing pieces for print, web and POP that will establish and reinforce the company's brand, image and message.
  • Ensure the design and production of the piece effectively implements the creative concept and adheres to established brand standards.
  • Design and produce and manage all assigned projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Develop concepts, layout, and graphics for tradeshow booths including custom booth displays, free-standing displays, table-tops, and banner stands.
  • Develop print, online, and billboard advertising design collateral including sales sheets, brochures, Power Point presentations, proposals and newsletters.
  • The candidate should be culturally savvy and have a pulse on current trends.
  • Assist Marketing team with brainstorming, marketing and advertising strategies
  • Maintain digital graphics library

Minimum Requirements
Job Requirements
  • 1 to 3 years' experience in graphic design for print and web mediums
  • Military experience welcomed
  • Education with relevant Certificate or degree strongly preferred
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite
  • Experience with web editors and web-based CMS.
  • Fast pace work environment functioning on all levels.
  • The ability to handle multiple projects at once all the while being able to prioritize jobs based on required deadlines is critical.
  • Knowledge of all stages of graphic design from concept to production.
  • Previous experience working with IT departments and developers for implementation of complex design aspects.
  • Must be self-motivated with a strong desire to develop existing skills while maintaining an emphasis on learning new techniques.
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Strong time management skills and sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail and still delivering high quality output.
