Job description

ADVANCE YOUR CAREER. ADVANCE THE WORLD.
At AMD, we believe technology can change lives for the better. It can heal us, entertain us, and make us more connected, productive, and understanding of the world around us. And we're looking for talent who feel the same: people who want to leave the planet better than they found it, those who don't shy away from humanity's challenges but are determined to help solve them.
AMD is powering the next generation of supercomputing, high-performance computing, cloud, and AI. Whether you're designing next-gen processors, enabling AI breakthroughs, or creating go-to-market plans, every role at AMD contributes to something bigger - technology that moves the world forward.
THE ROLE:
AMD is seeking a Senior Manager, Graphics Productization to lead a highly talented team responsible for transforming innovative graphics technologies into world-class products that reach millions of users. This leader will play a critical role in bridging advanced graphics research and commercial product delivery, ensuring new technologies are successfully integrated into AMD's graphics software and platform ecosystem.
In this role, you will collaborate with researchers, software engineers, architects, technical leaders, and product teams across AMD to drive the successful delivery of next-generation graphics capabilities. You will help shape the future of Radeon graphics technologies, including AI-enhanced graphics, rendering innovations, and graphics software releases, while leading a globally distributed team focused on delivering high-quality experiences to customers worldwide.
THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate is a passionate engineering leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys turning innovative ideas into shipping products. You are a strong communicator who can align diverse technical teams, influence stakeholders, and build high-performing organizations focused on execution and delivery.
You are equally comfortable discussing graphics technologies, software development processes, release execution, and organizational strategy. You value collaboration, mentorship, accountability, and developing talent while fostering an environment that empowers teams to innovate and deliver.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead AMD's graphics productization efforts, driving the successful transition of graphics innovations, SDKs, and proof-of-concepts into production-ready software and platform features.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing organization responsible for graphics software delivery and release execution.
  • Collaborate closely with graphics researchers, GPU architects, software engineering teams, ISVs, and ecosystem partners to ensure successful feature adoption and deployment.
  • Drive execution of key graphics initiatives, ensuring roadmap commitments are delivered with high quality and on schedule.
  • Establish scalable engineering processes, release practices, and operational excellence across the organization.
  • Mentor technical leaders and managers while fostering a culture focused on innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Within the first 90 days, establish strong partnerships across the graphics organization, gain deep understanding of current productization programs, and assume ownership of key delivery milestones.
  • Drive long-term success by scaling graphics productization capabilities and enabling the successful delivery of future Radeon technologies and software releases.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience leading graphics software, graphics engineering, rendering, gaming, GPU, or related technology organizations.
  • Strong understanding of graphics pipelines, rendering technologies, GPU software, or graphics SDK development.
  • Experience delivering complex software releases and coordinating execution across multiple engineering organizations.
  • Demonstrated success leading large engineering teams and developing technical leaders.
  • Experience working with external ecosystem partners, game studios, ISVs, or industry organizations.
  • Knowledge of AI-assisted graphics technologies, machine learning applications, or advanced rendering techniques.
  • Experience in semiconductor, graphics, gaming, or high-performance computing industries.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Graphics, or a related technical field.
  • Master's degree or PhD desired.
