Our Supervisors are responsiblefor ensuring the safe, accurate and efficient movement ofraw materials, WIP, finished goods and supplies throughout a manufacturing complex. Individuals in this role must understand and align business, plant and warehouse operations, executing the role in a manner that aligns with GPI business, cultural, financial, and operational objectives.

JOB FUNCTIONS:Job functions include but are not limited to the following.

  • Supervises and facilitates the day-to-day shift activities of the team.
  • Responsible for their individual performance. Oversees scheduling, material handling issues and maintenance, as well as resolving production problems.
  • Helps team achieve goals and has responsibility for personnel issues, including required employee coaching, counseling or discipline.
  • Act as the shift Liaison between the plant and warehouse
  • Maintaina safe work environment, fostering a culture of safe work performance, ensuring employeesare properly trained on equipment, encouraging employee engagement in the safety program, responding tosafety concerns, and modeling proper safe behaviors.
  • Achieve quality and productivity requirements,ensuring employeesare properly trained on procedures and processes, establishing priorities, providingclear directionand monitoring progress.
  • Achieve employee engagement through demonstratedleadership, listening and responding to employee concerns, taking decisive action, recognizing excellent performance, and fostering accountability.
  • Communicate throughout the organization on key issues.
  • Facilitate team meetings.
  • Share an obligation to protect and strengthen Graphic Packaging International's good reputation in our relationships with customers, employees, suppliers, competitors, investors, and governmental agencies, and to act consistently with our core values: Integrity, Respect, Accountability, Relationships, and Teamwork.
  • Schedules consist of 12-hour rotating days – generally includes every other weekend off, however, employee must be willing to work alternate schedules occasionally; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or off weekends and be punctual while doing so.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience

  • Four-year degree preferred or; compensatory closely related work experience required in lieu of degree.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing warehouse environment
  • Minimum 2 years of warehouse supervisor experience.
