Job Description:

The Supervisor, Video & Motion Graphics leads Withum's end-to-end video and animation production from concept and filming through editing, motion graphics, and final delivery. This hands-on supervisory role produces high-quality, on-brand video and animated content that powers the firm's thought leadership, campaigns, and brand storytelling across the owned, paid, earned, and shared channels.

The Supervisor both creates and oversees shooting and editing signature content while working collaboratively with Marketing team members in Industry and Service Line Marketing, and Marketing Centers of Excellence, upholding brand and quality standards, and turning events, webinars, and interviews into a library of reusable video assets that extend the reach of the firm's thought leadership.

How You'll Spend Your Time:

Videography & production

  • Planning and lead video shoots end to end - pre-production working in collaboration with content team members on concept, scripting, storyboards, shot lists, in addition, potential on-site production and logistics.

  • Capturing executive interviews, thought leadership, event coverage, client stories, and brand and recruiting content, on location and remotely.

  • Maintaining production equipment and ensuring

  • the technical quality of footage and audio.

Video editing & post-production

  • Editing long- and short-form video, color correction and grading, audio mixing, captioning, and versioning.

  • Producing platform-optimized cutdowns for LinkedIn, YouTube, web, and email from source content and webinars.

Motion graphics & animation

  • Designing and animating motion graphics, lower-thirds, titles, data visualizations, and explainer animations.

  • Building and maintain reusable animated brand templates and a well-organized asset library.

Brand & quality standards

  • Ensuring all video and animation adheres to Withum's visual identity and brand standards, partnering with the Creative team as a steward of brand-compliant output.

  • Maintaining a consistent, premium look and feel across every piece of motion content.

Supervisory responsibilities

  • Supervising mentoring and reviewing the work of potential freelance or vendor production partners.

  • Setting production standards and workflows and provide feedback and quality assurance before delivery.

  • Managing project timelines, priorities, and resourcing across concurrent productions, and help scope and manage external vendors and budgets.

Content repurposing & thought leadership support

  • Partnering with the Marketing Leaders to turn every strategic event, webinar, and talk into clips, reels, and evergreen video assets.

  • Contributing to podcast video production and broader multimedia storytelling.

Workflow, asset management & emerging tools

  • Owning media asset management - file organization, versioning, archiving, and rights and usage tracking.

  • Evaluating and adopt AI-assisted and emerging production tools to increase speed and scale while maintaining quality and brand integrity.

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Video Production, Motion Design, Communications, or equivalent professional experience.

  • 7+ years of professional videography, video editing, and motion graphics or animation experience.

  • Expert proficiency in required; Photoshop, Illustrator, Riverside.

  • Strong cinematography fundamentals: camera operation, lighting, and audio capture.

  • A strong reel or portfolio demonstrating both live-action video and animation or motion graphics.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with willingness to travel for projects.

Preferred

  • Experience within a corporate, agency, or professional-services Marketing team.

  • Animation, photography, or podcast production experience.

  • Familiarity with brand systems and multi-channel content distribution.

  • Creative craft & storytelling - turns ideas and expertise into compelling visual narratives.

  • Technical mastery - fluent across the full production and post-production pipeline.

Portfolio

Submission of a reel or portfolio demonstrating live-action video and motion graphics/animation is preferred as part of the application.

The compensation for this position ranges from $70,000-$75,000. In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
