What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Graphics Intern, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Graphics Intern, you need a solid understanding of design principles, proficiency in visual storytelling, and coursework or experience in graphic design. Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is typically required. As a Graphics Intern, you will typically have the opportunity to work on a variety of creative projects such as designing digital assets for social media, assisting with branding materials, creating visual content for marketing campaigns, and supporting the development of presentations or infographics. Interns often collaborate closely with experienced designers and marketing teams, gaining exposure to real-world client briefs and feedback cycles.
