THE ROLE

AMD is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our internal Creative team. In this role, you will partner with Senior Creative leadership to transform ideas into compelling visual experiences that support product marketing, branding, events, executive communications, and sales initiatives. You'll contribute across a wide variety of creative projects—from campaign development and gaming promotions to data visualization, digital experiences, and marketing collateral.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly creative designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams, and is passionate about combining strong design fundamentals with emerging creative technologies to deliver impactful visual storytelling.

THE PERSON

The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with exceptional visual design skills and a strong foundation in typography, layout, branding, and graphic communication. You are passionate about design, eager to continuously learn, and enjoy collaborating with creative teammates and internal clients to solve complex visual challenges. You embrace new technologies, including AI-powered creative tools, while maintaining a strong eye for detail and high-quality execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partner with Senior Creative leadership to develop concepts and transform ideas into compelling visual solutions.
  • Design creative assets supporting marketing campaigns, gaming initiatives, sales enablement, branding, events, and digital communications.
  • Create engaging visual storytelling through branding, typography, layout, and data visualization.
  • Present creative concepts and visual approaches to internal stakeholders and creative team members.
  • Collaborate closely with internal clients and cross-functional teams to rapidly develop and iterate multiple creative concepts.
  • Produce production-ready creative assets using industry-leading design tools and best practices.
  • Explore and implement new creative technologies, including AI-powered design tools, to enhance workflow efficiency and creative output.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • Experience in graphic design within an agency, corporate, or in-house creative environment, preferably supporting technology products or brands.
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual thinking from initial sketches through production-ready creative assets.
  • Experience designing branding, marketing collateral, event graphics, campaign assets, web content, and digital experiences.
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects or similar motion graphics software.
  • Strong understanding of typography, visual hierarchy, composition, and graphic design principles.
  • Experience leveraging AI-powered creative tools to improve design workflows and accelerate content creation.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, Digital Media, or a related field preferred.
