Job description

Chippewa River Industries, Inc. (CRI) is seeking a creative and detail‑oriented Marketing Assistant to support our marketing and business development efforts. This full‑time role (30-35 hours a week) is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on marketing work and wants to build experience across content creation, social media, branding, analytics, and events.

You’ll work closely with the Director of Business Development and Marketing to help execute campaigns, create engaging content, and support initiatives that promote CRI’s mission and services in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the execution of marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, print, and events
  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging content for social media, newsletters, blogs, and the website
  • Help develop and update marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, graphics, videos, and email templates
  • Support planning and coordination of marketing events, trade shows, and conferences
  • Track and analyze marketing performance and prepare reports with insights for leadership
  • Maintain brand consistency and support the evolution of CRI’s brand identity
  • Research industry trends, emerging tools, and potential new markets and audiences
  • Manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Provide general administrative and project support as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related experience
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and best practices
  • Experience creating and posting content on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
