Here’s what you will do as Digital Graphic Designer: 

The Digital Graphic Designer is a key member of the marketing team, translating business objectives into high-quality creative that strengthens the firm’s brand and supports marketing, sales, and product initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role partners with senior leadership, the marketing team, and external agencies to deliver creative across digital, web, social, presentations, print, and events, serving as a trusted in-house design resource and helping drive the firm’s continued growth. 

  • Serve as Hamilton ETFs’ in-house designer, executing creative initiatives across digital, web, social, presentation, print, and event marketing channels under the direction of the Head of Marketing. 

  • Design and produce high-quality marketing materials including presentations, infographics, digital advertisements, website assets, social media content, sales support materials, event collateral, and branded merchandise. 

  • Apply Hamilton ETFs’ visual brand identity consistently across marketing communications and touchpoints, while contributing ideas and recommendations for its ongoing enhancement. 

  • Design, update, and maintain website pages, landing pages, and digital assets within Hamilton ETFs’ existing WordPress environment, while contributing to ongoing user experience and visual improvements. 

  • Create and edit digital media assets, including graphics, short-form video content, and straightforward animations, to support marketing campaigns, product launches, events, and brand initiatives. 

  • Partner with marketing, sales, product, and compliance teams to translate business objectives into effective creative solutions while ensuring marketing materials meet regulatory requirements. 

  • Collaborate with external agencies, designers, and vendors to coordinate creative deliverables and ensure alignment with Hamilton ETFs' brand standards. 

  • Manage and maintain creative assets, templates, brand guidelines, and design workflows to support efficient and scalable marketing execution. 

  • Contribute creative ideas and recommendations that strengthen Hamilton ETFs' marketing presence and overall brand experience. 

  • Take on additional responsibilities, initiatives, or special projects as needed to support the continued growth and success of the firm. 

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful: 

The ideal candidate combines strong design skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to deliver polished creative across a range of projects and channels. This role is for someone who balances creativity with business and marketing objectives and is excited to help shape a sophisticated, growing financial services brand.  

Education & Experience 

  • Post-secondary education in graphic design, digital media, visual communications, or a related discipline. 

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in graphic, digital, marketing design, visual communications, or a related creative field. 

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality work across digital, web, presentations, campaigns and brand initiatives. 

  • Experience designing digital marketing assets, including social media content, digital advertising, websites, landing pages, presentations, and marketing collateral. 

  • Experience creating and editing short-form video and simple motion graphics for digital and social channels. 

  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, branding, visual hierarchy, and user experience principles. 

  • Experience working with external agencies, creative partners, or vendors would be considered an asset. 

  • Experience within financial services, asset management, ETFs, capital markets, or other regulated industries would be considered an asset. 

Technical & Core Skills 

  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop. 

  • Experience with web/UX design, WordPress, Figma, and modern web design workflows; HTML/CSS proficiency is an asset. 

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to polished, professional-quality work. 

  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across teams. 

  • Self-motivated and collaborative, with the ability to manage projects from brief through final execution and incorporate feedback effectively. 

  • Familiarity with compliance review processes and regulated marketing environments is an asset. 

  • French language skills are an asset.
