Position Summary: Graphic Design Studio I introduces students to formal, perceptual, symbolic and technical aspects of visual communication. Students explore graphic design concepts including: typography, image, form, color, proportion and space. This course provides an introduction to the design of both 2 and 3 dimensional projects as well as the practice of design critiques.

Qualifications - Required Academic Degree: Undergraduate Degree

  • MA or MFA in graphic design or equivalent is preferred
  • Teaching experience at the college or university level or experience providing training in graphic design or equivalent is required
  • Professional experience in graphic design or equivalent is required

  • Currency with industry best practices and tools relevant to the course is preferred
