As the Sr. Graphic Designer in this 6month contract role, you elevate Molson Coors’ creative and production capabilities by leading the development of highimpact retail and pointofsale materials while ensuring brand consistency and regulatory compliance. You drive design excellence through trendinformed creative strategies, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and mentor junior designers, collaborating closely with the Studio team to deliver bestinclass work.

This role reports to the Studio Lead, Marketing Production.

What You’ll Be Brewing: 

  •  Accelerate the Molson Coors Beverage Company commercial creative and production capability to become the First Choice for Consumers and Customers, delivering strategic execution in key regions.
  •  Work closely with the Studio Lead, Marketing Production, and the broader Studio team to define, update, and maintain Marketing Production processes.
  •  Lead the design and development of retail and pointofsale materials, including displays, signage, promotional assets, and packaging collateral.
  •  Ensure all artwork complies with industryspecific and regionspecific requirements and regulations.
  •  Review and verify artwork files for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards and regulatory guidelines.
  •  Stay up to date on changes in regulations and guidelines related to packaging artwork and communicate updates to the team.
  •  Monitor retail industry trends, competitor activity, and consumer behaviors to inform and enhance design strategies.
  •  Prepare creative work by gathering necessary information and materials, including brand guidelines, briefs, and reference stimuli.
  •  Interpret strategic inputs with creativity, originality, and strong visual and technical production judgment.
  •  Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and inspiring studio environment.
  •  Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  •  Bring strong attention to detail and deadlines, supported by training in graphic design and communications, along with experience in color management, printing processes, and digital production requirements.

Key Ingredients:  

  • You have a Post-Secondary degree in Graphic Design, Graphic Arts or related field, or equivalent professional experience 10+ years of print, digital and creative graphic design experience.
  • You have advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of applications.
  • You have experience with 3D/rendering software, motion graphics, animation, and Adobe Workfront — all considered strong assets.
  • You have experience in the alcohol/beverage industry or in consumer packaged goods, which is preferred.
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.
  • You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome.

The Ontario pay range for this position is $35 CAD to $45 CAD hourly. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate's experience, skills, knowledge, and other job-related factors.
