Job description

Purpose Statement:
A graphic designer at Elevate Life Church works to bring to life many kinds of communication with high visual impact. They are a member of the creative team and have a keen business sense, as well as creative flair. They prepare visual presentations by designing art and copy layouts. Examples of work may include but are not limited to: visual branding for message series/events/church identity/etc., websites, graphics for LED screens, product packaging, books/workbook/magazines, advertising, and exhibitions & displays.
Responsibilities:
  • Design & Creative
    • Develop original design concepts that communicate the church's brand
    • Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies
    • Design for digital, live services, and print environments
    • Work within brand guidelines to ensure consistency
    • Create graphics for services, sermon series, ministries, and events
    • Collaborate with videographers to produce graphics for motion and screen use
    • Ensure all visual content is engaging, clear, and aligned with the message being communicated
    • Participate in creative planning for sermon series and major events (Easter, Christmas, etc.)
    • Manage multiple projects, incorporating feedback and meeting deadlines
  • Service & Event Support
    • Support social media and marketing efforts with visual content
    • Be available during services and events for last-minute graphic updates
    • Prepare and format visuals for live production
  • Brand Stewardship & Organization
    • Present ideas for design concepts to be used in branding projects
    • Prepare final files for print, digital, and screen use
    • Maintain organized design files and asset libraries
    • Ensure brand consistency across all materials
    • Help develop and refine templates and visual standards
