How does a Graphic Designer in Customer Service typically collaborate with other departments to deliver effective visual solutions for clients?

A Graphic Designer in Customer Service often works closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to understand client needs and translate them into visually engaging materials. Collaboration is key—designers may attend team meetings, consult with account managers, and gather feedback directly from clients to ensure their work aligns with brand guidelines and project objectives. This cross-functional teamwork helps resolve client issues more efficiently and ensures that deliverables meet or exceed expectations. Being adaptable and communicative is essential, as priorities can shift based on client feedback and business needs.

What are Graphic Designer Customer Service professionals?

Graphic Designer Customer Service professionals combine creative design skills with customer service expertise to address client needs and ensure satisfaction. Our team in Jupiter is actively seeking a Graphic Designer / CSR to join us full-time. This role is the "face" of our Jupiter sales office, acting as the primary point of contact for our walk-in clients and managing the transition from a creative concept to a physical product. You will balance professional design work with customer service, ensuring every client who walks through our door receives expert guidance.
All of our positions offer industry-competitive compensation and opportunities for career development.

Job Description
The Graphic Designer / CSR is responsible for creating effective visual solutions across a wide range of media - including print, signage, custom apparel, promo, and direct mail - while simultaneously assisting with our front-counter operations. In this role, you will greet walk-in clients, translate their ideas into professional designs, and help manage their projects through the production lifecycle. You must be able to pivot quickly between creative design work and active customer service, maintaining excellent communication and ensuring all files are print-ready and accurate.
Key Responsibilities
  • Front-Counter Management: Serve as the primary representative of the organization at our Jupiter sales office with a friendly, welcoming attitude. Greet walk-in clients, answer phones, and manage the "front of house" experience.
  • Creative Consultation: Work directly with clients - in-person, via email, or by phone - to understand project requirements. Provide expert guidance on design concepts, material selection, and production options
  • Graphic Design: Produce professional, high-impact designs for a variety of projects across multiple production methods and ensure files are press-ready.
  • Order Entry & Estimating: Convey our expertise in products and services to clients. Accurately take and enter orders into our system, provide cost estimates, and collect payments.
  • Teamwork & Collaboration: Act as a proactive, dependable team player. You are the bridge between the client's vision and the production floor, ensuring a seamless job flow and a high-quality finished product.
Our ideal Graphic Designer / CSR has:
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop).
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of print design work and layout skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to handle walk-in traffic with grace and professionalism.
  • Critical thinking skills to identify the best production approaches for unique client problems.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a "interrupt-driven" environment.
  • Efficient time management and organizational skills.
Qualifications to work on our team:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • College degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role (Print, Sign, or Apparel industry experience highly preferred).
  • Valid Class E Drivers License.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
