Job description

RCN Capital is a national, direct private lending supporting real estate investors across the country.
RCN Capital is seeking a Graphic Design Intern to support ongoing graphic design needs across the marketing team, including developing quarterly social media holiday graphics, supporting the creation and maintenance of branded email signatures, and updating and designing branded marketing sheets and collateral. The intern will help ensure all materials are visually consistent with RCN Capital's brand standards and support marketing initiatives across digital and print channels. This role will collaborate closely with the marketing team to manage design updates, execute creative requests efficiently, and support increased workload during peak periods.
Responsibilities:
  • Assisting the Graphic Design Manager and Graphic Design team with ongoing graphic design needs
  • Developing quarterly social media holiday graphics
  • Supporting the creation, updating, and maintenance of branded email signatures
  • Designing and updating branded marketing sheets and collateral for digital and print use
  • Contributing to photographic documentation of internal company events
  • Assisting with reorders of branded company swag from vendors
  • Ensuring all creative assets align with RCN Capital brand standards
  • Collaborating closely with the marketing team to manage design updates and execute creative requests efficiently
  • Providing additional design support during peak workload periods

Requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage time appropriately in a fast paced environment
  • An outstanding work ethic and intrinsic drive to produce excellent work
  • A desire to take every project to a higher level
  • A keen eye and attention to detail
  • Ability to stay organized and work within a ticket based queue
  • Online and print portfolio

  • Experience in both print and web based design
  • Experience in photography preferred

Educational Paths of Interest:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Art or related field

Schedule:
  • Full time for duration of internship - 40 hours/week
  • Onsite in South Windsor, CT office
  • Standard schedule is Monday-Friday, 9AM to 6PM
