Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Pipeline Mapper for our Houston, TX location.  Some of the responsibilities will include

  • Perform both routine and non-routine, drafting assignments, scale and edit assignments involving the use of computer aided design and drafting equipment and other graphics software (e.g. CADD software) to achieve set results and deadlines.
  • Digitize or trace sketches or concepts from designers using CADD software, such as AutoCAD or MicroStation. 
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA / BS +2 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • 2+ years of IFB/IFC pipeline alignment sheet plan and profile drawing creation on Civil3D
  • 2+ years of pipeline typical drawings and permit drawing creation
  • 2+ years working with civil survey data for pipeline design/mapping

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with the following:

  • Creating map templates and sheet frames and Familiarity with data shortcuts
  • Creating and editing surfaces and surface profiles
  • Reading survey points and point groups
  • Working with offset alignments
  • Creating KMZs and exporting shapefiles and handling XREFs and large base files
  • BlueSky Skyline pipeline software
  • BlueBeam PDF software
  • ArcGIS Pro
  • Global Mapper
