A Graphic Design Photography Intern assists with both graphic design and photography tasks within a company or creative team. Their responsibilities typically include supporting photo shoots, editing images, designing visual content such as social media graphics, and collaborating with other designers and photographers. Interns gain hands-on experience with industry-standard software like Adobe Creative Suite and learn how to translate creative ideas into compelling visuals. This role provides valuable exposure to both fields, helping interns build a versatile portfolio and professional skills.

What kind of projects can a graphic design photography intern expect to work on, and how much creative input will they typically have?

Interns are usually encouraged to contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions and may have opportunities to pitch creative concepts, especially in collaborative team environments. While final decisions are made by senior designers or art directors, your fresh perspective and initiative are valued, and you may get to own smaller projects or assist with client presentations as you gain experience.
