Studio SC is looking for a highly motivated Project Manager to join our collaborative and conceptually-driven studio.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone who has exceptional project management skills and experience in design documentation and fabrication construction administration along with a desire to collaborate with design team members, architects, and clients to drive and deliver environmental graphic design projects to exceptional results.

Your impressive communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, scheduling and financial expertise, experience in project design delivery, documentation and execution, and ability to see the big picture are important to you in delivering high-quality outcomes that are essential to the successful development and implementation of architectural graphic design projects.

THE ROLE
  • Coordinate and manage project team and design process from concept to completion
  • Manage project design budget, scope, schedule and billing
  • Manage client correspondence and schedule meetings
  • Prepare proposals and project budget estimates
  • Assist with studio design documentation, technical specifications, and project execution process
  • Maintain and build client relationships and business growth and relationships with fabricators and other industry individuals
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, architecture, interior design, construction, business, or a related field is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within a creative studio, architecture firm, environmental graphic design firm, branding agency, custom fabrication shop or related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects with budgets ranging from $50K-$1M+
  • Proven ability to develop scopes of work, fee proposals, and detailed project schedules
  • Strong financial acumen - experience tracking budgets, forecasting hours, reviewing timesheets, and supporting invoicing
  • Experience developing design construction documentation, technical specification, and review of fabrication shop drawings
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative suite, Microsoft Office programs, Smartsheet, and project management tracking software
