Company Description

Invite Only Studios is a full-service event space, music/audio post-production, and photo/video studio, located in the heart of New York City's Chelsea neighborhood. We cater to a variety of events, including corporate and industry mixers, pop-ups, exhibits, release parties, and holiday parties. Our space is equipped with a bar, kitchen, PA system, VIP room, DJ booth, and video projector, featuring beautiful natural light and convenient access to transportation. Our studios are home to cutting-edge equipment, including a 48-channel SSL Duality console and a Z3 Triple Steven Slate Raven desk. Our team has collaborated with artists, filmmakers, broadcast networks, and brands globally.


Role Description

This is an internship role for a Graphic Design Intern. The Graphic Design Intern will be responsible for designing graphics, creating logos, developing branding materials, and editing images. Day-to-day tasks will include collaborating with the marketing and production teams to support various design needs. This is an on-site role located in New York, NY.


Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Basic motion graphics or video editing skills (After Effects or Premiere Pro a plus)
  • Strong understanding of visual branding and how it applies to music/artists
  • Ability to design for both digital and print media (flyers, social posts, album artwork, pitch decks, etc.)
  • Knowledge of social media formats and content trends (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube thumbnails, etc.)
  • Creative typography and layout design skills
  • Basic photo editing and retouching abilities
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to take direction and implement feedback effectively
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment
  • Passion for music, pop culture, and visual storytelling
