The Photographer / Graphic Designer creates high-quality visual content for product packaging, e-commerce, marketing, sales, social media, and company communications. This position combines product and lifestyle photography, image editing, graphic design, and digital asset management.

The ideal candidate is creative, technically skilled, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.


Β This is a 100% on site position in Kent Washington; virtual/hybrid is not available.Β

Requirements

Β Photography

  • Plan, stage, light, and photograph products for packaging, catalogs, e-commerce, advertising, social media, and sales materials.
  • Produce consistent product and lifestyle images, including multiple angles, close-ups, feature details, scale references, and in-use photography.
  • Prepare products, props, backgrounds, and sets for studio and on-location photo shoots.
  • Perform image selection, color correction, retouching, clipping paths, compositing, and background removal.
  • Ensure product colors, finishes, proportions, and features are represented accurately.
  • Maintain photography equipment, studio areas, props, product samples, and established photography standards.

Graphic Design

  • Create layouts and graphics for product packaging, sell sheets, catalogs, advertisements, presentations, trade shows, websites, social media, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Develop product callouts, comparison graphics, infographics, icons, banners, and other supporting visual content.
  • Prepare accurate, production-ready files for print, packaging, and digital applications.
  • Follow brand standards and review materials for image quality, typography, dimensions, specifications, and overall consistency.
  • Complete revisions based on stakeholder feedback while meeting project deadlines.

Project and Asset Management

  • Manage multiple photography and design projects from concept through final delivery.
  • Maintain organized file structures, naming conventions, metadata, version control, and image records.
  • Upload, manage, and archive approved assets within digital asset management and product information systems.
  • Track project priorities, approvals, and deadlines.
  • Stay current with photography, graphic design, packaging, e-commerce, and social media trends.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in photography, graphic design, visual communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Two or more years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating product photography, graphic design, and image-retouching skills.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat.
  • Experience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras and professional studio-lighting equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of composition, lighting, color, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
  • Experience preparing files for commercial printing and digital distribution.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, time management, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, accept feedback, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience photographing tools, automotive products, hardware, equipment, or other technical products.
  • Experience creating content for Amazon, retailer websites, social media, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Experience with digital asset management or product information management systems.
  • Experience photographing reflective surfaces, detailed products, and large or complex items.
  • Video production and editing experience is a plus.
