Marucci Sports is looking for a creative and highly motivated Graphic Designer to join our team in Baton Rouge. As an integral part of the marketing department, the graphic designer is responsible for carrying out the creative efforts of Marucci Sports and family of brands - Victus Sports, Lizard Skins, Baum Bat, The Stable and Hitters House. The graphic designer will provide in-house graphic support for marketing initiatives and brand campaigns. The ideal candidate will be comfortable understanding strategic insight and leveraging the Marucci Sports style guide in order to assist with a wide range of compelling graphics across various platforms. This role will work on a variety of design projects across multiple channels, including both digital and print media.

Job Duties:

  • Projects include, but are not limited to the development of print, packaging, email marketing, event signage, imagery, video, and collateral materials.
  • Collaborate with other designers and creatives to ensure brand standards are being upheld.
  • Creates graphics that are industry leading, trend right and that consistently incorporate consumer/athlete insight through powerful storytelling, emotional connectivity and relevance.
  • Ensure creative deadlines are met by working effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment while maintaining brand equity and proper execution of said marketing materials.

Provides design support for higher-level designers as needed

Requirements/Skills:

  • Possesses a strong portfolio in digital and print
  • Advanced knowledge of Mac platform and proficient in Windows
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Experience with Adobe Premier and Adobe After Effect is a plus
  • Photography experience is a plus
  • Exceptional eye for quality andattention to detail
  • Self-motivated, positive work attitude, strong sense of responsibility
  • Knowledge of baseball rules, players, teams, etc. is not required

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree requiredGraphic/Print Design or related field
  • 2+ years of related experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
