Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from accredited university
Valid CTE Texas teaching certification in any Arts/Tech App related subject area or verifiable professional experience in the Arts/Tech field.
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or related training and work experience for certification waivers under the District of Innovation Plan (DOI)
Demonstrated competency in digital graphics, photography & video production.
Primary Purpose:
Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences the career technical education area associated with the production of audio and visual media formats for various purposes such as advertising, video production or photography. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. Potential courses to be taught include: Principles of Art, AV Technology and Communications, Digital Graphics, Photography, Audio/Video Production.
