 Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Bilingual CNC Stone Cutter for our 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) to join our fabrication team. This role involves operating CNC machines to cut, shape, and finish granite, marble, quartz, and other natural or engineered stone surfaces. The ideal candidate should have experience with CNC machinery and be able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to support a diverse workforce. 
 
What You’ll Do  
  • Set up and operate CNC stone cutting machines according to design specifications and work orders.
  • Load and secure stone slabs for cutting.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and fabrication templates.
  • Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and precision.
  • Perform quality checks on finished pieces to ensure accuracy and craftsmanship.
  • Clean and maintain CNC machines and work area to ensure safe operation.
  • Assist with general shop duties as needed (e.g., polishing, edge profiling, material handling).
  • Communicate clearly with supervisors, designers, and team members in both English and Spanish.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations. 
Required Qualifications  
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of experience operating CNC machines, preferably in the stone or countertop industry.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools (calipers, tape measure, etc.).
  • Bilingual – English and Spanish proficiency (required or strongly preferred).
  • Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
  • Familiarity with stone materials such as granite, quartz, and marble.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours or overtime when needed.
Preferred Qualifications  
  • Experience with CAD software or CNC programming.
  • Forklift certification or material handling experience.
  • Knowledge of polishing, edging, or installation techniques.
