Job description

The DevOps / Observability Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining deployment, monitoring, and validation infrastructure for the CLEARSITE™ system. This role ensures that the multi-service architecture (agents, services, modules, coordinators) is observable, deployable, and meeting its SLOs across lab and field environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain the Decision-Trace JSONL pipeline for provenance logging
  • Design and deploy Grafana/Prometheus dashboards for metrics across event bus, TDOA transport, health monitor, target tracker, and migration pipelines
  • Manage Docker containerization and CI/CD pipelines
  • Implement schema validation and automated schema drift alerting (<24hr detection)
  • Support Phase 0 field validation and multi-site deployments
  • Build Spectrum Sensing Dashboard for Aerial partnership

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering
  • Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, and observability stacks
  • Docker and CI/CD pipeline experience
  • Time-series data ingestion, storage, and visualization
  • Linux systems administration and networking diagnostics
  • Python and/or Bash scripting

Preferred Qualifications

  • ClickHouse or columnar database experience
  • RF/SDR or field hardware familiarity
  • NVIDIA Jetson platform monitoring
