Job description

Campus Candids Graduation Foto by Collegiate Studios is currently seeking Graduation Photographers for the upcoming season. We are looking for candidates in the Sacramento Region, the SF Bay Area, Kern County, Santa Maria, and the San Luis Obispo area.
Need photographers willing to work Wednesday June 3, Thursday June 4, and Friday, June 5, 2026
Key Dates:
  • Overview and Training Meeting: Tuesday 6/2/2026, 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at our Studio 415 William St, Vacaville, CA 95688.

Position Overview:
Our photographers travel within a five-hour radius of our Davis office for assignments. Most graduation photo assignments occur on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays between May 21 and June 12. Training and equipment are provided, though basic knowledge of Nikon DSLR cameras and manual flash is recommended.

Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel and carpool as necessary; some jobs could require overnight stays. 
  • Reliable transportation, current car insurance, and a clean driving record.
  • Professional attire and a flexible schedule.
  • Ability to capture clear, professional, and in-focus images.

Compensation:
  • $20 - $25 per hour for photo assignments.
  • $0.58 per mile driven (or $17.50 an hour for travel time if carpooling).
  • $8.00 meal reimbursement per graduation.
  • Performance-based bonuses for reliability and quality.
  • $17.50 an hour for training and meetings.
