Job Summary
JM Test Systems is looking for a Product Manager Intern towork directly with our CTO and technology team on real digital products used bycustomers and employees every day. This is not a shadow role. You will domeaningful work.
You will learn what it means to be a digital product managerin a B2B company going through a real technology transformation. You will gainhands-on exposure to product strategy, user research, engineeringcollaboration, and AI-assisted development practices.
What You'll Do:
  • Participate in product discovery sessions with internal stakeholders
  • Write user stories and acceptance criteria for engineering execution
  • Research competitors and industry benchmarks
  • Help maintain and prioritize the product backlog
  • Use AI tools including Claude to support research, prototyping, and documentation
  • Analyze portal usage data and summarize findings
  • Support user acceptance testing before releases
  • Document processes, decisions, and product knowledge clearly

Help support work across one or more of our core digitalproduct areas, such as:
Customer Portal:
  • Help define features and write user stories for the customer self-serviceplatform
  • Analyze how customers use order tracking, calibration certificates, rentals,and service history features
  • Support improvements to user experience and workflow clarity

CalMapp:
  • Support workflow improvements for internal laboratory operations
  • Translate technician and lab manager needs into product requirements
  • Assist in improving operational efficiency through system enhancements

JMTest.com:
  • Help identify improvements to browsing experience and product catalogaccuracy
  • Support optimization of conversion pathways and user navigation
  • Assist with content and structure improvements for service pages

What We're Looking For:
Required
  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, orrelated field
  • Strong written communication skills with clear and structured writing ability
  • Curiosity about how digital products are built and how users behave
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and solving undefined problems
  • Basic understanding of web concepts such as APIs, databases, and formsubmissions

Preferred
  • Experience using AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT for school or personalprojects
  • Basic SQL or data analysis exposure
  • Experience in customer service, operations, or sales support
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Notion, or Trello
