Position Overview:


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Analyst Trainee to join Ferrovial Airports U.S. Corporate Development team-a dynamic, diverse, and high-performing team focused on shaping the future of airport infrastructure. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an early-career professional with 0-1 years of experience to build expertise in airport investment, corporate development, and strategic analysis while contributing to impactful projects. The expected duration of the Trainee role is one year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and perform data analysis to support airport investment and strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and investment presentations using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Support the preparation of reports, proposals, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members on project evaluation, due diligence, and transaction execution activities.
  • Monitor market trends and key developments in the aviation and airport sectors.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Aviation, Engineering, Data Science, Urban Planning or a related field
  • Experience: 0-1 year of relevant professional experience; internships and co-op programs will also be considered.
  • Qualification Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to build clear, accurate, and effective analyses and presentations.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and a proactive willingness to learn.
  • Preferred (Nice to Have) Skills:
  • PowerBI, Data Visualization Software (Tableau, etc)
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Demonstrated interest in infrastructure investments, particularly in the aviation space.
    • Willingness to take on a broad range of responsibilities and learn through hands-on experience.

  • Location Requirement: Must be based in or able to work in the Washington, DC area.

The anticipated annual compensation for this position will be $68,000 to $85,000, (paid at an hourly rate between $34 to $41). Trainees will be eligible to participate in a select benefits package, including health benefits, 401k, PTO and holidays. The total compensation package will be determined in accordance with applicable Pay Transparency regulations and aligned with the candidate's professional profile, taking into account the quality and relevance of prior experience, the nature of the organizations in which they have developed their career, as well as their technical and leadership capabilities, among other relevant criteria.
