The Role
Plans, develops, and coordinates in-house product training programs for field support personnel and customers. Obtains information needed to prepare in-house training programs; prepares training materials; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids. Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. May utilize trainers with technical expertise. Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree and 3 years of exempt experience; Master's degree and 1 year of exempt experience
One of the following may be used as equivalent to a bachelor's degree to meet minimum qualifications:
NNS Apprentice School graduate
High school and 5 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
Graduation from Navy Nuclear Power School
The following may be used as equivalent to the number of exempt years of experience required, in addition to the education requirement above: 3 years of relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade and/or military experience
