Job description

OVERVIEW
Job Title: Catholic Studies Student Office Assistant
Location: St. Paul Campus
Pay: $16.50
JOB SUMMARY:
Students in this position are responsible for welcoming and assisting visitors to Sitzmann Hall, answering the main phone line at Sitzmann and properly directing calls. Other duties include planning events for Catholic Studies; assist faculty and staff with printing, copying, and misc. projects; help with marketing and set-up for Catholic Studies events; assist with sacristy and chapel; assist staff with the upkeep of Sitzmann Hall.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Office 365.
  • Answering multi-line phones.
  • Ability to communicate and work with others.
  • Ability to use or learn how to use copy machine and multiple design programs.
  • A spirit of hospitality is necessary.
  • Must be able to occasionally carry heavier items and run errands on campus.

To be eligible for student employment, St. Thomas students must be degree seeking at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels.
